Kapyxel
Voxel art made specifically for video games.
We built a tool to produce voxel art specifically for games, we improve it with every production (the assets already run in LoothemUp) and we'll use it to put out plenty of bundles you'll be able to buy.
It's not on sale yet: this page says what it will be, with no date, rather than leaving you to guess.
What it will look like
Visuals are on the way. Each slot says what it will show, rather than displaying an image that isn't a real asset.
What you'll get
Finished packs
Meshes, their materials and their prefabs in a Unity package ready to import: you drag it in and it's in your scene.
Consistent with each other
Everything comes off the same bench by the same hand, so two objects from one pack sit together without retouching (which is rarely true when you assemble packs bought here and there).
Proven in a game
These assets aren't made for a showcase: they go through my games first, where they have to hold up on screen, in numbers, without dragging the frame rate down.
What you'll be allowed to do
The spirit fits in one sentence: use them in as many projects as you like, personal or commercial, royalty-free. You can modify them, recolour them, combine them. What you won't be able to do is resell or redistribute them as assets, modified or not.
The exact licence text will be published at launch, because I'd rather give you the principle now than a legal text I haven't finished having reviewed.
Where it stands
The first series will be for Unity, on itch.io, then the Asset Store, then direct sales here. Other engines will come later if it makes sense (Unreal is in the works).
I tell you where things stand, not when they ship. A date, I wouldn't hold it, so I show you the workbench instead.

Hear about it
There's nothing to buy today, but if the subject interests you I show the workbench day to day on Instagram, or you can simply write to me.
